Anyone convicted of DWI will have to install ignition interlock

POMONA Effective August 15, anyone in New York State convicted of misdemeanor or felony DWI even first-time offenders and regardless of whether a child under 16 was in the vehicle must install and maintain an ignition interlock device on any vehicles they own or operation for at least six months.
