I applaud you on your proactive stance in keeping your daughter safe as well as the rest of the motorists and pedestrians on the highway. Although voluntary ignition interlock is, well, voluntary, it gives a young driver a genuine understanding of what some of the consequences of impaired driving are. I think that any parent who is unsure as to whether or not their child may or may not be drinking and driving can gain a little piece of mind by using this device voluntarily.
